The inner plate is drilled to accept the single RJ45 Ethernet wall mount and to hold the 14 dBi antenna.

So the inner plate plays triple duty as a heat sink, antenna reflector, and mounting platform for both the antenna and internal Ethernet mount.

Here the plate is shown drilled and finished. The PoE RJ45 connector is mounted on the underside and the antenna on the topside. We are double checking the PoE and network connections here.
